The Oral-B Professional Healthy Clean and Floss Action Precision 5000, rechargeable toothbrush is one of the newest toothbrushes to be added to the Oral-B line. It is the most advanced we researched and has the most cleaning options. With daily clean, deep clean, sensitive, whiting, and massage modes, it has a mode for every occasion. Unlike other electric toothbrushes, the Professional Healthy Clean and Floss Action Precision 5000 rotates, pulsates, and oscillates to provide a brush movement for every tooth angle. This brush is marketed as having “floss action” but it does not actually replace flossing.

Another brush from the Oral-B line is the Precision Black 7000. This brush looks awesome! It’s sleek design and and black and blue color scheme make it look like something out of a Star Wars movie. We’d say this is a “Mans” toothbrush, but in case you get too manly while brushing, it comes with a visual pressure sensor that lights up if you get carried away and brush too hard.

The Bottom Line

All of these toothbrushes are good. The Oral-B Floss Action 5000 and Sonicare Flexcare are both great top of the line electric toothbrushes. The Sonicare wins our vote for simplicity. The Oral B wins our vote for being technology advanced. Who would have thought your toothbrush would have bluetooth built in? Both brushes clean your teeth way better than a manual brush. Which one is actually better at cleaning your teeth? Well, we don’t really know for sure, but they both claim to be the best.

For top of the line luxury in home dental care, the Oral B Precision Black 7000 and Sonicare DiamondClean are your two choices.

To us, the Black 7000 is the most stylish and coolest looking brush on the market… and hey! It also cleans your teeth really well. The Bluetooth, wireless SmartGuide puts it over the top. There’s nothing like watching your brushing statistics while your brushing… it’s just cool.
